Pay Information
$3,100 to $3,150 per week
About The Position
- Perform Diagnostic Imaging : Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images used in patient care and treatment.
- Patient Preparation : Safely prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring proper screening and documentation to avoid risks associated with metallic objects and contraindicated devices.
- Administer Contrast : Responsible for administering contrast media as required for imaging procedures and monitoring for any adverse reactions.
- Equipment Maintenance : Ensure proper functioning of MRI equipment, perform regular maintenance checks, and report any malfunctions to the appropriate department.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping : Accurately document procedures, maintain patient records in the PACS system, and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Floating : Be prepared to float within the scope of practice to assist other units as needed.
- On-Call Duties : Respond to on-call situations promptly when assigned, ensuring availability for urgent imaging needs.

- Experience : Minimum 1 year as an MRI Technician
- License : VA
- Certifications : BLS and AART required
- Additional Skills : Siemens experience required; PACS and contrast experience required
- Preferred : EPIC charting experience preferred
