Job Description

SCOPE :

The SAP Business Analyst - Supply Chain & Logistics is accountable for analyzing business requirements and translating them into a technical specification.

You understand business processes and provide creative solutions to business problems.

  • You are responsible for the successful implementation of SAP solutions and products. Develop necessary specifications and modifications to meet and exceed expectations and objectives.
  • You will be responsible for the SAP user support. You understand the logistics business processes and the involvement of the SAP system incl.

the integration to other IT systems.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Design and customizing of SAP modules related to Supply Chain & Logistics
  • Production Planning (PP)
  • Materials Management (MM)
  • Quality Management (QM)
  • Sales and Distribution (SD) and
  • Plant Maintenance (PM).
  • Provide support related to SAP Supply Chain & Logistics modules and processes.
  • Consult with users on how to effectively use SAP functionalities.
  • Participate in feasibility studies of new requests and provide recommendations for SAP solutions and process enhancements.
  • Specify system requirements (business & technical) to assess feasibility and risks, considering time and budget constraints.
  • Prepare unit test plan and support / perform unit & regression testing.
  • Provide training and documentation of new functionality to business users.
  • Provide regular management reports on the status of support activities and projects.
  • Responsible for managing smaller projects or segments of larger projects.
  • Maintain one's own professional development, including continuous learning of new SAP products, technologies, and releases.

Qualifications

EDUCATIONAL PREREQUISITES AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college preferably in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems or Business.
  • At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in SAP Supply Chain & Logistics applications.
  • At least 2 hands-on, full lifecycle SAP implementations from Blueprint to Go Live. Experience with design, configuration, and process re-engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on implementation and support experience in SAP Supply Chain & Logistics modules.
  • Basic level of understanding of processes within other modules of SAP.
  • A strong industry background in medical device or pharmaceutical industry in a global business environment.
  • Experience in an application support environment (issue management, enhancement management).
  • SAP Certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the integration between SAP ERP modules.
  • Experience in S / 4 desirable.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Visio software.
  • Good understanding of business processes and their value chain.
  • Project management skills and experience, including project scheduling, task tracking, risk analysis, team building, delegation, and project management tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with business change management techniques.
  • Strong ability to work in a team and collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and communication skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Highly motivated individual performing at a high level in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
