We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to apply their skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, technologically advanced manufacturing environment.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our state-of-the-art machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities :

1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all production and operating equipment to ensure maximum uptime and longevity.

2. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions in machinery and equipment, utilizing a wide range of tools and techniques.

3. Program and troubleshoot PLCs to optimize machine operation and performance.

4. Conduct precision measurements to ensure machinery alignment and calibration.

5. Operate a variety of power tools to perform repairs, maintenance, and equipment installation.

6. Collaborate with the production team to understand equipment needs and to plan maintenance work.

7. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work performed, including any parts or materials used.

8. Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

9. Continually update knowledge and skills in line with technological advancements in the field.

10. Provide on-call support for emergency repairs or maintenance as needed.

Qualifications :

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing industry.

2. Proven expertise in PLC programming, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and machine operation.

3. Proficiency in using power tools and precision measurement instruments.

4. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.

5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.

6. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.

7. High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

8. A solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing environment.

9. Willingness to be on-call for emergencies or to work overtime as needed.

10. A relevant technical degree or certification is preferred.
