About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night, 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 2 years of experience required License : Washington license - Active, In Process, or None (can submit with pending license) Certifications : ACLS & NIH required;
TNCC preferred Must-Have : Pulmonary Artery Line / Swan Ganz monitoring experience required Job Description : - If previously employed at any affiliated facility as permanent staff, a minimum three-month separation from the health system is required to qualify for this travel contract.
- Accepting first-time travelers. - Floating required to Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) / Telemetry. Travelers are expected to float within their scope of practice if needed.
- The designated float team floats first; however, travelers may need to float first before permanent staff if required at another campus.
Facilities are within a 40-mile radius or less. - Patience with previously mentioned diagnoses including sepsis, post-cardiac arrest, COVID-19, respiratory failure, and more.
- Special procedures include IABP and PA catheters. - Use of special equipment such as Spacelabs Telemetry monitors, Lifepack defibrillators, and transport monitor, along with Bellmont for MTP.
- Staffing ratios are either 2 : 1 or 1 : 2. - Weekend shifts as needed. Note : Completion of modules pre-start and annually;
average 16 hours spent. Completion recorded in Workramp transcripts. Orientation includes 40 hours non-billable.
