Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and lift trucks to move materials and products
- Safely load and unload trucks and containers using forklifts
- Perform order picking and ensure accurate inventory counts
- Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse or production facility
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or lift truck
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and shipping / receiving documents
- Proficient in basic math skills for inventory tracking and order picking
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in product handling
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a consistent basis
- Able to work in heights as assigned
- Able to successfully complete pre-employment screening
Employees operating stock pickers must weigh less than 400 lbs and be no taller than 6’10
Note : OSHA certification is preferred but not required. Training can be provided if necessary.
