About The Position

CT Technologist

Profession : CT Technologist

Shift : 12-hour days

Hours per Shift : 36 hours per week

License : Required

Certifications : BLS, Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)

Must-Have : GE VCT 64 slice and GE Revolution 128 slice

Description :

Candidates must have experience with GE CT scanners.

Candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN employees with any associated facilities.

A radiation badge will be provided.

A valid driver’s license is required for submission.

Response time for on-call duty is varied.

Weekend commitment is every third weekend.

Holidays are also required.

Candidates should be flexible, positive, and willing to learn.

Unit has 4 CT rooms and shares resources with MRI, X-ray, Nuclear Medicine, and other departments.

Common types of imaging and studies performed will be varied.

Job duties will include operating CT imaging equipment and performing related tasks.

Experience in EMR and PACS is preferred.

The system used is EPIC for EMR and McKesson for PACS.

Self-scheduling is not available; the supervisor will assign shifts.

RTO requests must be submitted upfront with a limit of 7 days for the duration of the contract.

Additional RTO will not be approved after submissions.

The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts during the assignment.

Candidates should possess a positive attitude and adaptability to thrive in this role.
