The expected pay for this job is $34,000.00+ per year .

THE TYPE OF RESPITE CASE MANAGER WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're searching for someone who can meet the following qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field, with some prior experience working with families and children
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • A basic knowledge of child development and behavioral management techniques is preferred

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR RESPITE CASE MANAGER

You will work 8-hour shifts .

As a Respite Case Manager at Volunteer Behavioral Health, you will have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of impactful responsibilities.

Using a systems approach model, you will work closely with families, implementing behavior management strategies based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.

Your role will involve providing home and community-based training and respite to ensure the holistic well-being of both the child and the family.

In this position, you will be responsible for conducting ecological assessments and functional analysis of behavior problems.

You will collect data, maintain daily logs of progress, and provide ongoing written and oral evaluations to parents based on daily objectives and data.

Collaborating with families, you will develop Individualized Family Respite Plans (IFRP) to meet their unique needs. Additionally, you will design and deliver training programs tailored to the specific requirements of each family.

A key aspect of your role will be to assist families in identifying and accessing respite alternatives in the community.

By providing direct respite during skills generalization training for the child, you will contribute to the family's overall well-being and support their ability to navigate day-to-day challenges.
