Job Description
We are looking for a Test Engineering Intern to join the team in Austin, TX this summer!
Overview :
In this role, you will work with a highly motivated test team supporting Skyworks Timing Solutions. You will be responsible for creating customized tools to accelerate the development of test programs for Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
Education Requirements :
Currently pursing a BS or MS in Electrical, Computer Engineering or related programs.
Knowledge and Skills :
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong experience in C / C++ programming and scripting languages
- Preferred hardware / software development experience within applications, or validation engineering
- Knowledge in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
- Familiar with Atlassian's Jira and Confluence applications
Responsibilities :
- Designing, developing, and implementing automation tools
- Identifying issues and troubleshooting problems with software development
- Documenting test results by using scripting tools to analyze data
- Use of configuration management tools to document releases
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of ATE tools into the production process
