Marketing Coordinator

José Andrés Group is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our expanding marketing team. Based in either New York City or Washington DC, this exciting role is responsible for hands-on design and production work across a multitude of channels.
This position requires some experience with digital design concepts and email marketing.
Key Responsibilities :
Support Graphic Designer and Marketing Managers by editing and publishing digital assets including but not limited to email marketing, website content including blog and menu updates, paid media (banner ads, rich media, Facebook / Instagram ads) and digital signage.
Work directly with Graphic Designer to ensure all digital creative follows existing brand guidelines and style guides.
Proof content and perform quality control on digital communications.
Ensure digital assets such as fonts, imagery, video and other forms of content are developed and formatted appropriately, and optimized for web.
Maintain review sites and reservation platforms, ensuring latest photography, menus, and hours are posted on a regular basis (Yelp, OpenTable, SevenRooms, Google, etc.)
Support organization of marketing assets across the organization.
Work directly with Marketing Managers and Graphic Designer to forecast daily and short-term workload, ensuring that deadlines are met and managed efficiently.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience :
Two years' professional experience.
Experience updating websites (WordPress, CMS, etc.) as well as experience writing HTML / CSS / JS
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite specifically InDesign / Illustrator / Photoshop
Proficiency with Google Analytics and various digital dashboards.
Experience in Email Marketing Platforms (Emma, Campaign Monitor, etc.)
Excellent typographic skills and visual craftsmanship
Working knowledge of digital design and UX / UI best practices
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at once
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Docs
Bonus Points :
Experience with Bentobox CMS website platform
Experience with basic CRM platform(s)
Photo editing experience (Photoshop / Lightroom / etc)
Basic marketing copywriting skills
