Currently we are looking for a PART TIME / CONTRACT caregiver for our client in PORTLAND, TN.
Shifts are Monday thru Thursday from 5 pm to 9 pm.
- Care if for an elderly gentleman.
- TASKS : hoyer lift experience desired, incontinence care and other personal care, transferring, meal prep, companionship

Responsibilities
- Remind clients to take prescribed medication
- Transfer and ambulation assistance (around the house or outside (doctors appointments, walks etc.)
- Assist with personal care and hygiene
- Plan and prepare meals
- Complete clients shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
- Light housekeeping
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Companionship
- Transportation to and from appts, shopping, outings
Qualifications
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation every single day
- Able to pass Abuse Reistry, Criminal background and Motor Vehicle background checks
- Able to pass drug test
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and / or weekends
- Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- Supportive and compassionate
- Dementia care a PLUS!
