Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our growing emergency team in Fort Myers, FL. As a f amily-owned emergency and specialty veterinary hospital, we offer advanced and specialized veterinary services to our clients and referring veterinarians. Our team of veterinary professionals provide compassionate care and exceptional customer service to our patients and clients alike. The Emergency Vet Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to pets in emergency situations. Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in treating and stabilizing pets in urgent care and emergency situations
• Take and record vital signs, including but not limited to, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, and blood pressure
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
• Perform diagnostic tests and procedures, including blood work, urinalysis, and radiology
• Monitor and document patient progress and update medical records accordingly
• Provide thoughtful and compassionate communication to pet owners and referring veterinarians
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Minimum of every other weekend
