As a Platform Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One.

General Responsibilities : Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenariosContinuously improve software engineering practicesWork within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologiesLead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience and scalability of your solutionsBring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering communityEncourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization and diversityUtilize scripting languages like Python, SQL, Ruby and groovy, Container Orchestration services including Docker and ECS, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and services Basic Qualifications : High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certificationAt least 2 years of experience using build and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitHub, or Artifactory)At least 2 years of experience with AWSPreferred Qualifications : 3+ years of experience with AWS2+ years of experience in Agile practicesAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (i.
