Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate deployments. Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of data streaming infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration projects during acquisition. - Provide light support by coordinating with Confluent support as needed. Job Title : Kafka Developer
Location : 100% Remote (EST hours)
Introduction
We are seeking a Kafka Developer to join our team during an exciting period of growth. As the organization undergoes a large acquisition, this role is pivotal in ensuring smooth data integration across systems. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on developer with experience in building scalable, cloud-native data streaming solutions and integrating SaaS and on-prem applications using Confluent Kafka.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working with Apache Kafka or Confluent Kafka.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala for data streaming development.
- Experience developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
- Proficiency in building Kafka connectors and pub / sub architectures.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. - Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment (EST hours).
