- The typical working hours for this position are from 8 a.m. CT to 4 : 30 p.m. CT.
- Training for this position is conducted onsite for three months. Following the completion of training, the position transitions to a hybrid rotating schedule.
HOW YOU WILL SOAR :
The Cash Management Specialist will report to the Cash Management Manager in the R&W Operations Department. The Cash Management Department oversees the movement of daily cash activities.
This role is responsible for processing all aspects related to incoming and outgoing funding such as checks, wires, ACH, RTP, etc.
The Cash Management Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to executing various money movement functions such as wire file transfer requests, ACH origination files, electronic check deposits and remittance of federal and state withholdings.
The incumbent will also be assigned various projects to complete at the request of the Manager, Cash Management.
Accurately sort checks and documents by product line and prepare for batch processing
Scan images for internal review, and verifies quality of scanned checks and documents
Review and monitor check processing reports
Execute electronic checks deposits
Prepare and Review accuracy of check return letters
Facilitate incoming cash funding notifications for wires and ACHs
Process wire transfer and ACH file submissions
Remit federal and state tax withholding payments
Maintain integrity and accuracy in financial transactions and reports
Communicate with banking relationships to address any issues and inquiries
Ensure that all processing consistently meets established service levels and policies and procedures
Record important notes and supporting documentation within the client account portal
Manage department email box, including e-fax
Manage client inquiries within the Customer Relationship Management Services software
Assist in reviewing and creating department policies and procedures
Effectively communicate and utilize sound judgement to escalate issues that may require intervention of the Senior Cash Management Specialist or Team Lead
Other duties as assigned
IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY :
1-3 years of experience in Banking or related field
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field
Be proactive, analytical, and able to problem-solve and propose resolutions
Operate efficiently with a high degree of accuracy
Comprehensive working knowledge of all Microsoft products including Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to prioritize and complete tasks within specified timelines
Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
Team player with a positive and flexible attitude
Working knowledge of trust accounting systems and Salesforce CRM, preferred
Automatic Clearing House (ACH) / Electronic Fund Transfer (Wire) knowledge preferred List here
