About The Position
Job Title : Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Job Specialty : Surgical Services Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 4x10-Hour (9 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM, Monday to Thursday, occasional holidays) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Strong experience in orthopedic and neurosurgery required License : State license required Certifications : NBSTSA or NCCT certification required Must-Have : - COVID-19 Vaccine (Medical / Religious Exemptions Only)- Flu Vaccine (Medical / Religious Exemptions Only) Job Description : Perform surgical technology duties and responsibilities in an operating room setting.
- Collaborate with surgeons and registered nurses to ensure proper sterile techniques are followed.- Assist with the setup and maintenance of operating rooms, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterilized and functioning.
- Work effectively as part of a team to provide the highest quality surgical care.- Flexibility to work at least one holiday per season, covering major holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's.
- Compliance with all facility documentation requirements, with compliance documents due prior to the start date.- Orientation of 24 hours is provided, with non-billable modules completed within the first 24 hours.
Note : The role does not require call duty, and local candidates residing within 100 miles are not accepted unless they meet the specified exception criteria.
Return travelers must have been absent for a minimum of one year before rejoining.
