A Typical Day
- The Assistant Vice President Facilities is responsible for managing work efforts related to the company’s physical facilities including : developing and managing project plans and budgets for space acquisition / modification / occupancy;
- coordinating / supervising internal / external facility resources; analyzing and optimizing use of HVAC and utility services, monitoring / reporting use of space and facilities;
serving as primary liaison to public utility, environmental and energy agencies; and, maintaining compliance with local building code and OSHA regulations.
The Assistant VP Facilities will :
- Ensure service providers associated with building and equipment are administering their roles per contracts
- Inspect facilities to meet safety regulations and coordinating renovations and updates
- Contribute to the development of business unit goals and action plans to anticipate and support the needs of a growth-oriented company
- Assist in defining and administering a comprehensive space planning discipline to support the company’s operational goals
- Develop and manage project plans and budgets for space acquisition, space modification and occupancy
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
- Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field such as construction preferred
- Ability and willingness to perform at a high level, general repairs and improvements
- Conversant with technical and critical components of Facilities Management discipline
- Facilities management certification preferred (CFM, CPM, RPA or MCR)
- Project or Program Management professional preferred
- Working knowledge of architectural, electrical and mechanical systems
- Work hours may vary based on business needs

Compensation : Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below :
- Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
- Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
- Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and / or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
