• Take direct admits that come from other emergency departments or observation units.+ Conduct extended recovery primarily for the cancer center and transplant.
• We frequently care for cardiac recovery patients from the Cath Lab and people that get newly placed pacers.+ We require all of our nurses to go through a trauma nurse course, stroke accreditation courses, and a critical care course.

GENERAL OVERVIEW : Responsible and accountable for a designated patient population for the purpose of providing care based upon enactment of the nursing process.
