JOB DESCRIPTION
Department : Emergency Department
Shift Timing : 07 : 00-19 : 30 Hours (3 Days / 12 Hours) Monday to friday.
Per Week : 36 Hours
Level 2 trauma. ED float RN position with ability to be floated every 4hrs to ED obs.
ACLS, BLS, NIH required. PALS, ENPC, TNCC preferred.
We are a level ll and there are 38 beds plus 8 behavioral in the ER.
Responsibilities
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Qualifications
BLS and ACLS
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
The ability to stand for extended periods.
Strong technical skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology
Passionate about patient care
Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Emergency Room experience.
Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
Active unencumbered RN Michigan state license
One year of Cerner experience
TNCC and PALS Certifications
One year of RN Telemetry experience
Requirements
COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
