The position requires 10 years of general experience in building trades, repair, and maintenance. The maintenance department currently has a staff of 3 people.
Responsibilities :
- General repair and maintenance of water-cooled chillers, gas boilers, pumps, elevators, and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of drywall, welding, concrete repair, painting, and plumbing is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs while following appropriate safety procedures.
- Work in various positions including stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods.
- Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 14 ft on A-frames and 21 ft on extension ladders).
- Work in different environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity).
- Maintain a valid Florida driver’s license.
- Work after hours and weekends to attend to emergencies.
Qualifications :
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
- Strong computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office; knowledge of Building Link is a plus.
- 10 years of experience in mechanical systems maintenance (Required).
- Driver's License (Preferred).
- Ability to relocate to Miami Beach, FL 33141 before starting work (Required).

Pay : $35.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours : 40 per week
