DETAILS :
- Rate structure : Travel / Lodging + Excellent Hourly rate.
- Facility 1 Cases : OB and GYN Full Scope. C Sections, minor gyn procedures, and any OB related procedures.
- Support Staff : Hospital Nursing Staff and OB Hospitalist who would also be working.
- Facility 2 Cases : In patient and ED patients. All OB and emergent GYN.
- Support Staff : Midwives and RN’s
HOSPITAL INFORMATION :
- Facility 1 :
- Hospital averages 65 births per month. 100% hospital based.
- OB Hospitalist Group sees all unassigned patients.
- This position would cover the assigned patients.
- There is not a NICU at this location.
- Newborns needing NICU care are transferred to our sister hospital in Dover Delaware or the Nemours Children’s Hospital in Wilmington Delaware.
- Facility 2 :
- OB GYN available to work independently with a diverse population in a friendly and collaborative work environment.
- Inpatient volume @125 monthly births; NICU level 2
REQUIRED :
- DE State license required or IMLC (LOQ in hand)
- Board Certification Board Certified, Board Eligible
- Residency Requirements / Fellowship OBGYN
- BLS, DEA.
- Case Logs 12 months of at least 100 surgical procedures of different scope / variety + trauma.
SCHEDULE : COMMITMENT MINIMUM 6-MONTHS OR ONGOING.
- 24-hr call + Weekend.
- Availability needed : 7 24hr shifts per month at both sites.
- Multi-site privileging. Sussex (8a-8a); Kent (7a-7a).
- Target start date and duration : January 1st, 2025 Dec 2025 ongoing needs, possibly longer.
COMPENSATION :
- Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)
