Responsibilities :

• Java coding and testing, support for integration and test and Trouble Report fixes.
• Working as a member of a multi-functional team to deliver software / hardware applications on an aggressive timeline to support soldier training.
• Design and documentation of solutions.
• Implementation of software designs.

Duties :

• Implement components as directed
• Participate in Agile software development ceremonies (scrum, retrospective, etc.)
• Support integration into larger system developed remotely

Required Skills :

• Object Oriented design background
• Strong background in Java
• Ability to test and debug

• Linux

• DoD live training systems
• Containerization

Required Education / Experience :

• 4-year degree from an accredited institution in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in application development for embedded systems.
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX / Linux and Android based environments.
• Be willing and able to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance. Applicants who accept a conditional offer of employment may be subject to government security investigation(s) and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
