THE OPPORTUNITY

Kyndryl is looking to hire a world-class ESG Business Development Leader, responsible for providing leadership and direction on companywide ESG business development strategy and center of excellence that supports Kyndryl ESG offerings and services.

ESG is a growth opportunity for Kyndryl and as part of the team you will be helping to build and grow this business with internal and external stakeholders.

This team member will work with the Global Sustainability, ESG and Social Impact Officer to lead the strategy and execution of ESG center of excellence.

The role will interface with numerous internal stakeholders from Kyndryl Consult, Kyndryl Bridge, marketing, global practices, regional ESG SWAT and internal customer account teams across the globe.

External stakeholders include alliance partners, industry analysts and customers.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned ESG professional with a deepunderstanding ofdeveloping and executing sustainability programs in organizations,and experience in a global based company.

This individual will have exceptional leadership, collaboration, situational adaptability and influencing skills to ensure the organization’s programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned to overall business objectives.

This candidate will help build the program from the ground up to have a global footprint in over 60 countries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The ESG Business Development Leader will be responsible for the following :

Work collaboratively to set the ESG business development strategy and goals for Kyndryl

Build a global ESG center of Excellence that enables and supports ESG business development

Provide subject matter expert (SME)guidance to internal teams and customers on sustainability and market / industry needs, including regulations and reporting frameworks

Help identifyand measure sustainability benefits of existing Kyndryl offerings

Work with practices and alliance partners to develop new ESG services and products

Work with account teams and customers to co-create bespoke ESG advisory and technology solutions

Supports pre-sales and delivery as a ESG SME

Develop and execute enablement support ESG sales and delivery

Provide global best practice guidelines and quality check ESG services

Compensation

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $116,760 to $221,880 based on a full-time schedule.Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience.

For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations :

California : $128,400 to $266,040

Colorado : $116,760 to $221,880

New York City : $140,040 to $266,040

Washington : $128,400 to $243,960

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans.

You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off.

Note : If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 7+ years working in Sustainability practice and managing related programs with a focus on carbon and systems development

Experience in ESG strategy development, ESG Reporting, GHG emission calculations, ESG business case definition and development

Knowledge and experience with aligned with industry frameworks such as ISSB, CDP, GRI and SDG and existing regulations such as CSRD and SEC ruling

Strong People skills and ability to work across functions and business. Note many members of the organization are in Europe and there is a need to adjust schedule accordingly.

Fast paced and get it done orientation

Resourceful

Ability to engage with senior executives within Kyndryl, partners and customers

The ability to travel globally up to 30-40%

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental, Engineering, Sustainability, or related field required

Master’s Degree preferred.

PREFERRED TECHNICAL & PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE

Engineering or Sustainability Certifications.

Corporate and Consulting experience preferred working with large Fortune 500 companies.

This position is remote, but location in theNew York Tri-State area is preferred.
