Duties :
- Draft and prosecute patent applications related to AI technologies.
- Collaborate with inventors to assess the patentability of new AI innovations.
- Conduct prior art searches and freedom-to-operate analyses.
- Stay updated on the latest AI technology advancements and patent laws.
- Liaise with clients to develop and manage patent portfolios.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree or graduate degree (MS / PhD) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Physics, or a related technical field involving AI / ML.
- Experience with AI models, neural networks, and deep learning.
- Proficiency in AI / ML theory including backpropagation, regularization, and optimization.
- Experience in preprocessing data, selecting features, and training / tuning models.
- Domain experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, natural language processing, wireless communications, computer vision, or related AI fields preferred.
- Registered to practice with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
- Active member and in good standing of the Colorado Bar or eligible to waive into the appropriate Bar.
