Intern

KOKH / KOCB is looking for an Intern in our Engineering Department Requirements & Qualifications :

• We are looking for highly motivated, dedicated students in the Engineering or related field and are looking to get the most out of their internship experience.
• You must be eligible to receive college credit to participate in this internship
• Be a Junior or a Senior in College
• Must be 18 years of age
• This internship is unpaid.
• Credit Verification forms will be provided.

During your internship you will learn :

• How to read schematic diagrams
• How to diagnose video signal failures
• Understand the difference between composite video, SDI and ASI video formats
• Learn how to make video and audio cables
• Learn how automation works in the news room as well as master control
• Introduction to Avid editing systems
• Introduction to RF Systems and Transmitter operations
