Remote Commercial Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative

Our team seeks an enthusiastic individual to provide exceptional customer service to our insurance company clients and policyholders.

You’ll be responsible for creating insurance policies, advising potential clients on coverage, and converting quotes into new policies.

You’ll also help resolve billing issues, change policies, and make policy recommendations. If you have previous insurance experience in a customer service role and have a friendly, client-first attitude, please apply today!

Responsibilities :

  • Answer incoming call questions about insurance policies and insurance coverage issues, as well as consumer complaints and general inquiries
  • Demonstrate accuracy in processing client policy modifications based on the data given
  • Verify new customers coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance paperwork
  • Keep track of all customer inquiries and follow up to verify that all questions are answered regarding customer policies
  • Stay up-to-date on new marketing efforts to answer insurance product inquiries utilizing all the resources available
  • Handle complaints, present appropriate solutions, and alternatives within the timeframes set, and follow up to ensure that the issue has been resolved

Qualifications :

  • Property and Casualty License required
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent needed
  • 1 to 2 years of Experience
  • Knowledge of insurance products and policy schedules is preferred
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • EPIC preferred
  • Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills
