Speech Language Pathologist
Key Responsibilities :
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment for individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Create and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
- Maintain precise documentation of patient progress and therapy sessions.
- Educate patients and their families on effective communication strategies and techniques.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Illinois state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Previous clinical experience is advantageous, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
