Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Transportation Drainage Engineer to their Naperville Team!
Responsibilities :
- Assist with completion of engineering plans, specifications, and drainage engineering studies
- Develop hydrologic / hydraulic models of municipal storm sewer / sanitary collection systems
- Analyze / design stormwater facilities and proposed improvement projects
- Complete drainage portion of engineering plans, specifications and cost estimate production using IDOT Standards
- Complete IDOT Hydraulic Reports, Location Drainage Studies and other drainage studies
- Communicate with clients / regulatory agencies
Requirements :
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years of experience
- PE License or ability to obtain within one year of employment
- Roadway / infrastructure design experience using IDOT Standards preferred
- Experience preparing IDTO Hydraulic Reports and Phase 1 drainage studies
- Experience preparing permits related to drainage design, floodplain / floodway, and wetland impacts (including U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Section 404 and IDNR-OWR Floodway Construction permits)
- Ability to travel with own transportation
- Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, CivilStorm, StormCAD and HY-8 preferred
- Experience using Microstation / Geopak preferred
Salary is commensurate with experience.
