Summary :
Hatz Diesel, an International diesel engine manufacturer, is currently seeking an Order Processing Specialist to support the group objective in delivering high-quality and innovative power solutions to our customers in new and existing industrial market segments.
The Order Processing Specialist processes parts orders and provides customer assistance for ordering and shipping spare parts orders, as well as fulfilling support and administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and responding to emails, billing and crediting customers, and resolving any customer complaints.
This position reports to the Parts and Warehouse Supervisor.
Essential Responsibilities of the Order Processing Specialist :
- Process parts orders within the company’s SAP computer system
- Respond to inquiries for parts availability, pricing, backorders, delivery and shipping information, and other parts related inquiries as needed
- Invoice customers
- Manage inventory cycle counting and maintenance
- Manage the Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA) process
- Maintain documentation and paperwork essential for record keeping
- Provide parts technical support as requested
- Create suggested parts ordering lists per customer needs
- Assist, as required, warehouse team to pull, pack and ship parts and engine orders
- Operate forklift, load & unload trucks (training provided)
- Achieve high level of customer satisfaction
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience and skills we are seeking for the Order Processing Specialist :
- Excellent communication skills including active listening
- Customer service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
- Knowledge of diesel engines preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience required
- Experience with internal combustion engines, diesel preferred
