(10 MONTHS–CERTIFICATED)

HIP HACKENSACK, UNION STREET SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF

Qualifications :

  • NJ Educational Services certificate with Educational Interpreter – Sign Language Interpreting

endorsement or eligible for NJ Certification.

  • Educational Interpreter Proficiency Assessment (E.I.P.A.) score of 3.5 or more.
  • Must hold a High School diploma.
  • Experience with the Deaf Community and Culture – preferred.
  • NJ residence within one (1) year from the date of hire.

    • Compensation Rate / Range :

    $56,145 - $61,145 - Interpreter Level I

    $60,645 - $65,645 - Interpreter Level II
