Human Resources Specialist
Title : HR Specialist.
Location : Tampa, FL.
Pay $25.00 per hour.
Shift 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm.
Summary :
We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join our team at our plant in Tampa, FL. You’ll be part of a great team who thrives on partnering with our business leaders, supervisors, and employees.
You will work directly with and assist the HR Business Partner to fulfill a variety of necessary HR tasks. You should be highly organized, detail oriented, enthusiastic, and most importantly, personable and approachable.
Essential Duties :
- responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- directly with and report to the HR Business Partner regarding all HR endeavors.
- with new hire procedures, including creating employee files, administering handbooks, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and submitted to appropriate persons.
- employment-related inquiries from employees and supervisors, referring complex and / or sensitive matters to the HR Business Partner
- maintain, and update employee files and HRIS information as needed.
- positive employee relations and work to solve any employee issues that arise.
- a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues; maintains confidentiality regarding all employee-related issues.
- with special HR projects as assigned.
- duties in compliance with GAF safety policies and procedures.
Physical Demands :
- vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- sitting, walking, and standing.
- use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment.
