Payroll Analyst
Job Responsibilities :
- Audit timesheets and interact with supervisors, as required, to verify data and resolve discrepancies.
- Enter payroll data into spreadsheets for loading into software.
- Correspond with employees, via email and telephone, regarding payroll issues.
- Process special items for (but not limited to) : child support, moving expenses, expense reimbursements, bonuses, and terminations, as requested.
- Process payroll in a multi-state corporate environment.
- Process and review pre- and post-payroll audit reports and resolve any payroll discrepancies.
- Meet all established deadlines for bi-weekly payroll and other assigned duties and projects.
- Review and prepare journal entries at month-end.
- Act as back-up for payroll manager, as needed.
- Carry out other duties within the scope and purpose of the job.
Job Requirements :
A minimum of 2-plus years of payroll experience is required.
