Operating Engineer Master
LSU Health New Orleans Division of Facility Services is seeking highly skilled applicants for the position of Operating Engineer Master in the Preventive Maintenance Shop. There are multiple vacancies. The starting rate of pay is $21.05 per hour with an additional $1 Longevity Pay, $2 Shift Differential and $3 weekend Pay for hours worked only. Rate of pay may be adjusted dependent upon applicants' experience and qualifications. Must be available for scheduled shift work after regular working hours and during holidays. Minimum Qualifications : Three years of experience or training in the operation or maintenance of large stationary engines or mechanical equipment. Necessary special requirement : For those positions in which incumbents will be working with and handling refrigerants, possession of an appropriate EPA refrigerant recycling and recovery certification for technicians will be required (as required under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act, 1990).
