Overview :

MedRx Inc. is a U.S. based global manufacturer and developer of advanced computerized diagnostic and hearing instrument fitting technologies, specifically designed for the hearing care professional.

MedRx has created a remarkable New Generation of discreet, yet powerful PC-based instrumentation for Audiometry, Real Ear Measurement, Live Speech Mapping, Hearing Instrument Testing & Evaluation and Video Otoscopy.

Administrative assistants will be the initial contact for incoming customer requests at MedRx.

The administrative assistant will accept incoming phone calls, greet visitors, assist with document generation, order new office supplies.

Responsibilities :

Answer incoming phone calls and route to proper department.

Greet visitors as they arrive in the building.

Take notes during company meetings, sales meetings, and requested events.

Knowledge of Navision and the company part numbers.

Understand the invoicing process and how entering invoices changes inventory records.

Order office supplies.

Any additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications :

Strong computer skills, with ability to use email, Microsoft Office suite of programs, Navision.

Must be a self-starter, organized, able to work independently with strong interpersonal & effective communication skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

First-rate interpersonal and customer service skills.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Education and Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least two years related experience required.

Physical Requirements :

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
