Tele / Stepdown RN position at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center

Thirteen week assignment

Ideal location near hiking and outdoor activities

Job Requirements

Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Preferred : NIHSS

Experience with pre / post heart patients - stents, pacemakers, ICDs, CABG, vascular experience

Schedule Information

12 hour shifts from 6 : 45 AM to 6 : 45 PM

Block scheduling allowed, more common on nights

Self-scheduling allowed

Weekend Requirements : Every other or 4 weekend shifts a month

Holiday Requirements : Every other holiday rotation

Unit Specific Information

Monitor techs on the unit handle monitoring and documentation

Nurse Aides on this unit with ratios of 1 : 8 on days and 1 : 12 on nights

Unit / Department Specific Orientation : 2-3 shifts

Scrub Color : Navy Blue

Additional Details

Permanent address must be at least 25 miles from the facility location

Nurse to Patient Ratios : 1 : 4 days and 1 : 4-5 nights

Common diagnosis / types of patients : pre / post cardiac procedures, heart cath, CABGs, stents, trachs, chest tubes

Charge nurse does not take patients during the day shift
