Machine Maintenance Technician

Join Harger Lightning and Grounding, a leader in the industry! We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform regular maintenance and monitoring on our equipment to ensure it is running optimally for continued manufacturing and production.

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include inspecting equipment and its parts to ensure the machine is working properly. You will also identify, troubleshoot, and perform repairs on equipment such as CNC, EDM, punch presses, lathes & stamping machines.

This position is also responsible for various tasks not associated with machines, such as moving office equipment, ventilation, building and grounds.

Education, Experience and Preferred Skills

• A high school diploma, or equivalent, is required.
• Experience with the mechanical maintenance process and having a mechanical aptitude is also required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and detect malfunctioning machinery, read blueprints and drawings.
• Being mathematically literate is essential.
• Must have experience with, and knowledge of, manufacturing, electrical, electronics, CNC, PLC, pneumatics & fluidics (hydraulics).

You will be communicating and working closely with team members, so good communication skills are required.
