Department : Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services
Location : Chattanooga, TN

Facility dedicated to providing comprehensive care to clients with severe and persistent mental illness.
Role Overview :
As a Physician-Psychiatrist, you will provide psychiatric care to acute and / or sub-acute patients in our in-patient Regional Mental Health Institute (hospital).
Your role is crucial in evaluating and treating patients with behavioral health issues, including psychiatric and addiction-related conditions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Evaluate patients to diagnose and treat behavioral health issues.
- Complete and authenticate all necessary documentation.
- Order and monitor treatments, tests, and medication regimens.
- Provide expert recommendations to the court regarding commitments, conservatorships, and forensic evaluations.
Qualifications :
- Must hold a Tennessee Medical License.
- Completion of an accredited psychiatric residency program is required.
