Full-time social work position in the Maternal Fetal Care Center to provide a range of clinical services to pregnant women diagnosed with a fetal anomaly.
Opportunity to be involved in the development of the psychosocial arm of a new fetal surgery program.
This Maternal Fetal Care Center Social Worker will be responsible for :
- Screening / assessment / treatment of maternal mental health
- Psychosocial consultation to multidisciplinary team
- Coordination of care within BCH and with partner delivery hospitals
To qualify, you must have :
- Master’s Degree in Social Work and LICSW is required.
- Comfort with crisis management, goals of care discussions and bereavement
- Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment essential.
- Interest in program development and research desirable.
- Bilingual / bicultural / diverse candidates are encouraged to apply
Schedule will include four 10-hour days : Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with flexibility for coverage needs. This position is 100% onsite.
