The Hired Guns are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Homepage to join a brand-new product team that’s rethinking the retail e-commerce experience from the ground up for a giant in both e-commerce and brick-and-mortar retailing.

Come to the party packing solid product management experience working on end-to-end, strategy-to-implementation site builds, a strong feel for UX and marketing, and an interest in retail and e-commerce.

We don’t need to tell you that as Senior Product Manager, Homepage, you’ll own the vital first impression that the online shopper experiences, with the responsibility for striking the perfect balance between a clean, inviting, and branded appearance and the functionality and navigational capabilities the user needs.

And because it’s the storefront , myriad stakeholders from every functional area within the company will have ideas and demands.

You’ll meet these intersecting challenges by formulating a comprehensive and data-driven understanding of customer behavior, laying out a roadmap of ways big and small to optimize the shopper experience while unlocking opportunities to increase revenue.

You’ll need to operate effectively and communicate flawlessly with cross-functional collaborators with often competing agendas, influencing and persuading them through your own strong product vision, confident point of view, and reliance on data and testing.

How you’ll know if you’re a fit

You could be the Senior Product Manager, Homepage we’re looking for if you have a solid 5-plus years’ product management experience during which you’ve developed an eclectic track record of building many kinds of products from strategy to implementation.

It’s a must that you’re used to working in a highly matrixed organization where working cross-functionally is the air you breathe and where you’ve learned the very difficult knack of welding hard data and a laser focus on the customer with your lived experience and creative ideas to identify and sell effective solutions.

Beyond that, we’re looking for someone who has worked in e-commerce, has implemented homepages for large, complex websites, and has CMS expertise and some background in marketing.
