Job Title : NICU Registered Respiratory Therapist - RRT NICU
Facility : Lehigh Valley Hospital Network
Location : 1200 South Cedar Crest Blvd. Allentown, PA 18103
Pay range : $58 - $60 / hr
Shift time : 6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15AM
11 weeks assignment with high possibility of extension
Job Summary :
- Administers all forms of respiratory care, both critical and general therapy, and directs and manages the respiratory and pulmonary care for a designated group of patients
- Provides respiratory assessment, support, treatment, and diagnostic tests as part of the healthcare team.

Certifications - Required :
- RESP REG - Respiratory Therapist, Registered NBRC RRT
- AHA BCLS - Basic Life Support
- AHA PALS : Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- AHA NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program
Licensure - Required :
Respiratory Care Practitioner - PA state license
Education - Required :
Associate's Degree Graduate from an RRT program accredited by the commission of accreditation for Respiratory Care
Experience - Required :
1 year Experience as a registered respiratory therapist.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Required :
- Ability to provide respiratory therapy methodologies and techniques.
- Ability to operate and trouble-shoot diagnostic equipment.
Education - Preferred :
Bachelor's Degree Graduate from an RRT program accredited by the commission of accreditation for Respiratory Care
