Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – CWR

📍 Location : Brick, NJ

🕒 Shift : 6 : 45 PM – 7 : 00 AM (3x12s, Nights)r

📆 Contract Length : 13 weeks

📈 Hours / Week : 36

📅 Weekends & Holidays : Required as needed

📋 On-Call : Not required

Job Summary

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides and administers all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy and supportive equipment under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services and Supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory therapy under medical direction for patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
  • Assist with intubation and manage ventilator set-up.
  • Evaluate patients’ needs, perform disease education, and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
  • Build rapport with patients, caregivers, and team members to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide and document patient / caregiver education.
  • Adhere to HMH standards, policies, and safety procedures.
  • Perform physical activities as required (lifting, standing, etc.).

    • Requirements

    Education :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

    • Certifications & Licensure :

  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • Current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care License
  • Current and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

    • Skills & Experience :

  • Ability to adapt quickly to patient needs.
  • Strong accountability, teamwork, and patient-focused approach.
