What You Will Do
The Commercial Project Manager is responsible for developing execution plans to achieve construction project milestones and minimizing costs for a single project or area.
This role oversees project execution and monitors critical path schedules and deliverables for high-quality commercial landscape projects.
Responsibilities :
- Review contract documents, specifications, blueprints, and estimates to understand the scope of work to set construction schedule and financial projections.
- Schedule and manage the labor force required for various projects.
- Provide input to design of construction project execution plans.
- Ensure necessary tools, equipment and materials are available for the crews.
- Resolve building code issues and permitting with governing agencies.
- Proactively communicate with and coordinate activities among crews and subcontractors.
- Monitor labor cost analysis and make adjustments to stay within budget.
- Process timesheets, Change Orders, AR / AP approvals and deliver paychecks.
- Facilitate weekly meetings with stakeholders and update the project schedule.
- Determine possible scope increases, issue new RFI's, work with estimator regarding proposals, complete applications for payment.
- Ensure that Driver Inspection Reports (DIRs) are in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Recruit, hire, and train new field employees.

Qualifications :
- 5+ years of related experience and / or training.
- Bachelor's degree (BA / BS / BEng / BArch) in a technical area of study or equivalent years of experience (two years' experience to one year of education).
- PMP (US and / or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.
- Strong understanding of landscape construction, irrigation construction and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge in MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with Aspire software, a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish, a plus.
- Valid driver license and clean motor vehicle record required.
- Assisting with snow management required.
