The current model consists of 19 MDs and 25 CRNAs. Documentation is handled through the EPIC electronic medical record system.
Patient volume varies, with an average of 7 to 10 cases per day in the operating room and approximately 20 cases per day in the GI lab.
The standard shift hours are weekdays from 7 AM to 5 PM. The types of cases seen include obstetrics, outpatient surgery, neurology, orthopedics, major vascular surgeries, and trauma, though the facility does not handle complicated pediatric cases or transplants.
