JobSummary
Performs a variety of chemicalanalyses and GMP review in accordance with cGMP GLP DEA and companypolicies and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform routine testing (dissolutionassay / degradant content uniformity and ID) of drug products in acGMP laboratory.
- Complete all assigned testingin a timely and organized manner in accordance with cGMP GLP DEAand company policies and procedures.
- Enterdata into laboratory information system and accurately document allnecessary and relevant information in a clear concise manner as percGMPs.
- Operate and maintain all analyticalinstrumentation and equipment as per established procedures;perform basic troubleshooting.
- Communicateopenly within the group to provide and gather information tooptimize the use of resources and to optimizeefficiency.
- Aid other group members asrequired.
- Ensure that equipment and workingareas are maintained with good safety and housekeepingpractices.
- Restock chemicals and consumablesused in analysis.
- Performs other relatedassignments and duties as required and assigned.
Education andExperience Requirements
- The incumbent must have a BA or BS degree in Chemistry orclosely related science.
- Minimum of 1yearrelevant experience preferred.
Necessary Knowledge Skills andAbilities
- Understanding ofanalytical technology (HPLC GC Dissolution Automation orSpectroscopy UV / Vis NIR IR or AA / AE).
- Relevantexperience may include academic and / or industry experience and ismeasured based on the quality and quantity of the experience as itrelates to the requirements of the position.
