Benefits :What will your day look like? As a Lead Software Engineer you will :
- Perform and lead hands on development as well as maintenance and support of software solutions.
- Engage in strategy and applications architecture, providing problem anticipation, problem solving, and vision to all teams involved in reporting, systems analysis, and applications development.
- Participate in coaching, leading, technical mentoring, and performance tracking. Guide engineers on methodologies, standards, systems, best practices, and processes to drive continuous improvement as needed.
- Be accountable for assigned technology domain areas, solutions, and projects, including but not limited to project execution and planning, change management, release planning, and production operations support.
- Track, monitor, lead, and resolve production support issues. Document solutions and activities and conduct root cause analysis.
- Maintain and create work tickets, updates, tracking, and follow ups. Assist in creating technical how to documentation as appropriate.
- Execute the analysis of business requirements, development, design specifications, and technical and user documentation of report development through direct interaction with stakeholders and project teams.
- Communicate and escalate needs, issues, risks, and ideas in a timely manner to appropriate audiences.
You’ll be a good fit for the Lead Software Engineer role if you :
- Have 7 or more years of professional experience working as a hands on software engineer.
- Have 3 or more years of experience leading a technical team.
- Have 5 or more years of .NET and C# experience.
- Have 5 or more years of cloud experience, preferably with Azure
- Have experience leading software engineer, systems integration, frontend web, backend batch processing, API, or ETL teams.
- Experience with Domain Driven Design and Electronic Data Interchange desired but not required.
- Experience with Scaled Agile desired but not required.
- Experience with MS-SQL, T-SQL, PL-SQL Server desired but not required.
- Previous healthcare experience desired but not required.
- Have strong communication and collaboration skills and are an expert at troubleshooting.
