Quality Inspector (World-Class Medical Device Manufacturing Injection Molding & Plastics )

Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of our client - a world-class medical device manufacturing company specializing in injection molding and plastics.

We're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join their innovative team.

About Our Client

Our client is a leading ISO 13485 certified manufacturer in the medical device industry. They are committed to maintaining the highest quality standards in their state-of-the-art facility, producing critical components for the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure produced parts meet customer specifications and standards
  • Perform routine inspection activities using predetermined methods and procedures
  • Conduct sample analysis and document quality activities
  • Rotate through different jobs and rooms during shifts
  • Use micrometers, calipers, and microscopes for precise measurements
  • Communicate non-conformance findings with Shift Production Supervisors
  • Issue MRB's through ERP System for non-conforming products
  • Complete special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of inspection experience
  • Proficiency with department equipment including computerized optical comparator, coordinate measuring machine, microscopes, and various measuring instruments
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, and Blueprint Reading
  • Familiarity with ISO 9000 / 13485 fundamentals (a plus)
  • Ability to differentiate colors using samples and / or color chips
  • Basic shop math skills and ability to convert between English and Metric units
  • Basic computer knowledge, particularly with Excel spreadsheets

Shift Details

  • Third shift : 11 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM, Sunday night - Friday morning
  • $2.25 Shift Premium

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly rate : $22 to $24 / hr + $2.25 Shift Premium
  • 401(k) : 100% match on first 3% and 50% on next 2%
  • Quarterly bonus : 4 to 5%
  • 10 paid holidays
