Job Summary :

The Class A Driver prepares and completes orders for delivery including loading and unloading materials and products. Drives company vehicles to deliver finished goods to customer job sites and unloads the materials to customer’s satisfaction.

Rotates stock material, picks orders as needed and loads outgoing trucks with finished goods and products. May assist with inventories as well.

Job Duties :

• Prepares and completes orders for deliver and pickup.
• Delivers products to customer, may include job sites and construction areas. Unloads products to customers specifications and quality standards.

Documents issues with loads and reports issues to relevant staff.

• Safely operate company vehicles to relevant company and DOT standards.
• Preforms daily inspections of equipment and report any issues.
• Assists in loading and unloading of shipments.
• Stages building packages as required.
• Preforms housekeeping as needed and keeps warehouse clean and organized.
• Assists with inventories.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Must possesses a current, valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record. Non tractor trailer is ok.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 75 pounds or more frequently.
• Experience in a production-oriented environment, prefer fabrication, inventory management or warehouse experience.
• Ability to operate yard equipment required, loader and forklift experience required.
• Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and use of bar-coding systems.
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• HS Diploma or GED with some college coursework preferred, two or four-year degree preferred.

Wage : $20.00 per hour - $32.00 per hour depending on experience
