Experience : 1 Year (1 year of previous travel experience in cath lab required)

License : Valid state license required

Certifications :

ACLS

BLS

NIHSS (preferred)

Must-Have :

• Ability to operate independently with a 3-person team in the cath lab
• Must complete up to 8 hours of modules within 1 week of signing
• COVID-19 Vaccine required with medical / religious exemptions only
• Flu Vaccine required with medical / religious exemptions only

Description :

Position available for a Cath Lab Registered Nurse.

The nurse will work four 10-hour shifts from 07 : 00 to 17 : 30.

Call requirement is one night per week and every fourth weekend.

Weekend call rotation is mandatory, approximately every fourth weekend.

The nurse may float to Interventional Radiology as needed.

Holiday requests will be accommodated as needed by the department.

The late team rotation is required once a week to complete remaining cases.

EP experience is not required but is highly recommended.

The nurse will perform a variety of procedures including but not limited to PCI, ablations, and device implants.

Familiarity with charting systems, specifically Cerner, is required.

Must have experience in adult and geriatric patient populations.

Daily census and patient load will vary based on volume.

Interdisciplinary support will be available from various services including IV teams and pharmacy.

Candidates must agree to adhere to professional conduct standards as any issues may lead to immediate contract termination.

This position does not accept local candidates; candidates must live at least 50 miles away from the facility.
