Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for an ICU position in Wisconsin requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and flexibility with floating to nearby locations.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an ICU setting in a hospital environment
  • Patient ratio is 1 : 2
  • Care for adult and occasional pediatric surgical patients, including ENT and orthopedic cases
  • 12-hour variable shifts with every other weekend and holiday required
  • Floating required to similar units within skillset and to other locations within a 40-mile radius
  • Travelers may be placed on call during low census periods and receive on-call pay
  • Uses Epic EMR; prior Epic experience not required
  • Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
  • Scrub color is open to any choice
  • Floating can be pre-scheduled when needed
  • Candidates may cover more than one location within a 40-mile radius
  • Holiday coverage is required every other holiday

  • Active WI or compact RN license required
  • Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA or Red Cross required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
  • Critical access or rural hospital experience highly preferred
