Aerotek is hiring for their Stocker / Linen Tech / Receivers

Located in Winston Salem, NC

Description :

• Will be responsible for stocking medical supplies and request orders of new supplies when inventory levels are low
• Candidates will be maintaining par closets stocked for nurses and medical staff
• Will check expiration dates on supplies to ensure its up to par
• Will organized work station and inventory room
• Will also received in trucks - sorting and breaking down all carts coming into the hospital
• Some receiving experience is required for this role!
• Will assist and take ownership of the linen department
• May have to put line carts together by sorting and counting clean linens
• LINENS DONT GET WASHED AT THE HOSPITAL
• You will never have to touch soiled linens
• Must be comfortable getting around the hospital and learning the lay out
• Candidates will be interacting with nurses and staff as well - customer service is a huge part of the job
• Professional appearance and friendly demeanor
• Candidates will also maintain inventory of medical supplies in a clean room environment
• Ideal candidate will be quick on their feet, be able to jump from one task to another task.
• Looking for a candidate that is able to be on feet for long periods of times.
• Will have to work every other weekend, is a MUST and holidays as well!

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

• High level of communication skills
• Ability to work on feet for 8 to 10 hours
• Ability to walk up to 10 miles per shift
• High School Diploma or GED is REQUIRED
• Ability to cross train and jump from task to task
• Shipping or receiving experience
• Inventory or stocking experience is required

Shifts vary depending on department, must be open to all of them :

4am - 2 : 30pm Tuesday, Wed, Fri & Saturday

This is a Contract-to-Hire position, 6 month

This is a fully on-site position in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
