Job Summary :

The Philosophy and Religious Studies Department at Marist College invites applications for part-time faculty for the 2024-2025 academic year.

We have immediate teaching opportunities for our Introduction to Philosophy course, and ongoing needs for qualified instructors in the following areas : Ethics, Introduction to Religion, Religion in America, and World Religions.

Minimum Qualifications :

A Master's Degree in Philosophy, Religious Studies or a closely related field is required. Doctorate of ABD preferred. Previous successful collegiate teaching experience needed.

Essential Functions :

Successful candidates may teach three to nine semester credit hours each semester. Teaching may occur during both the fall and spring semesters.

Teaching assignments are for in-person classes held at the Marist campus in Poughkeepsie, New York.
